Travel and accommodation

One of the most environmentally friendly options to travel to the Netherlands is to travel by train. Aligned to the UMC Utrecht and Utrecht University Green Travel Policies, we would like to encourage participants to come by train and bus if possible. Please see the University of Utrecht Sustainable Travel page for tips and tricks for travelling by train and bus. You can plan your international journey via the Dutch Railway website for international trains

After registration, participants will receive an email with suggested hotels with special negotiated prices.

Accreditation

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance once ECTMIH 2023 has closed. Delegates in the Netherlands can apply for up to 18 points via the NVTG, the Dutch Society for Tropical Medicine and International Health; please see the FAQs below for further details.
